We know that planning a mission trip can be overwhelming. With that in mind, we have prepared a couple of documents for you to use to help you plan for a successful mission trip experience.
This preparation manual is packed with really helpful information (schedules, free day activities, what-to-pack lists, and more!) that will answer many of your questions.

Two resources for you to prepare for your week at JP:
1. High School Preparation Manual
This preparation manual is packed with lots of information for you and your mission team in regards to a weekly schedule, free day activities, transportation information, and more.
2. High School Mission Team Training Sessions
A must-have resource to prepare your High School students for a week of service in Lee County, VA.
JP's Todd Freneaux contributed a chapter (A Holistic Approach to Work Camps) and appendix (The Importance of Engaging Jr. Highers in Short-Term Missions) to a new book titled, 5 Views on Youth Ministry Short-Term Missions. The book was released on January 2, 2020 and is available HERE.
Youth Group Covenant & Photo Release Forms should be signed by a Youth Leader and Senior Pastor on behalf of all students.
Medical Permission Form should be completed by all Student & Adult participants.
(Please bring two additional copies, for each participant, of these medical forms to camp)
Due Date: All forms should be turned in to your JP Camp Director at the time of your arrival to camp.
