Summer 2021 Mission Opportunities

"How can I plan for a mission trip next summer when it's so challenging to plan youth ministry events a month from now?"

Fair question!  We know that every youth leader is struggling to plan ministry events from week to week. The concerns your families have around COVID are real and make it very difficult to plan with safety in mind. At the risk of oversimplifying it, one answer to the question about planning a mission trip next summer is to plan for the best.  Why? Because things are likely to improve by next summer.  You and your students will be so ready to get out and serve and JP wants to be ready to host your team when your church and families give the green light to head out on a mission trip.

After more than 20 years in ministry we are definitely seeing things differently for the summer of 2021.  Like everyone else, we are navigating the pandemic the best way we know how.  But we are committed and remain hopeful that we can return to hosting mission teams next summer so that we can serve our communities in Winchester, VA and Romney, WV and continue to provide life-changing mission trips for your students.

We realize that the traditional mission trip will not look very traditional in 2021.  Knowing that we needed to think outside the box in order to safely serve together, we have created four unique mission opportunities for you to consider for 2021.

We know that one of the concerns churches have (in addition to the safety of all participants) is the financial commitment to a mission trip that in the end may not happen, for a variety of reasons. Because of this, we are making all deposits 100% refundable through January 31, 2021. This allows you to register this fall for next summer's mission trip without the concern of losing any money.

We anticipate that you will have LOTS of questions, so we have created a separate page for COVID-related FAQs as well as a page for General Camp FAQs. We also know that we will be adding to those long list of questions every week.

We hope that in the coming months, one of these four mission opportunities will become attractive to you and that it will support your vision of service in 2021!

Registration for Summer 2021 work camps begins October 15th!
